As servers patch let's take a look at some of the features that are releasing in 3.5 Winters Wrath. For the Fae Yu;e activities you'll find Instant Adventures in Iron Pine Peak, new Minion quests courtesy of the Minion Card: Grish which you can purchase on the Rift Store. You'll also find Fae Yule quests and zone events which award currencies used to purchase dimension items, companion pets and more! For you dungeon crawlers the final bosses in level 65 dungeons will drop Dormant Fae Yule Gifts that open after 12 days and contain a piece of dormant gear from the 1st tier of Nightmare Tide Raids that are upgradeable.
Trion keeps on giving with fantastic items on the store including animated backpacks, weapon skins and more. According to the article linked above:
"The star on top of this year’s Fae Yule tree is a set of necklacess that will make any Ascended blush with happiness. The extremely powerful Everfrost Gorgets start off as equivalent to gear from the first set of Nightmare Tide raids but are quickly upgradable to those found in Tier 2. In addition to the Fae Yule festivities Trion's implementing Affinity rewards for Patrons. You're awarded Affinity Points for logging in daily as well as up to 3 additional points per day just for playing Rift. What can you get with these points? Glad you asked spend them in the Store for mounts (always my favorite), a new dimension as well as the new Tarken Lifter for your dimension.
