Today marks the launch of Android Assault Cactus over Steam’s Early Access program, allowing potential buyers to contribute towards the game’s development, and in turn gain access to an alpha build, as well as the finished product at the end.
Speaking in a press release today, designer Sanatana Mishra also took the time to reveal what lies in store for the title's future. “We're announcing that the game is coming to Wii U in early 2014.” States Santana, which follows the recent announcement of a PS4 and Vita launch, also slated for next year.
The game itself requires players to fight through hordes of rampaging robots across maps that dynamically change as you play, rearranging themselves during play. Combine that with giant boss robots using ridiculously overwhelming attacks, 4 player local co-op & colourful graphics for a well rounded indie title done right.
