New this week on Indie Saturday Premiere - Overruled

Overruled is a zany multiplayer brawler that has you take charge of a uniquely designed character and battle up to 3 others with their Multiplayer Mode. Prefer to go solo? They've got you covered with their Campaign Mode where you maneuver your way thru 6 boards unique to each unlocked character. You must pass each challenge in the specified time to move onto the next challenge. At this time Indie and Judge Mental are the only characters available in Campaign Mode but once the game is launched there will be a total of 14 unlockable characters.

You have several skills to use to get you through the boards - punch, rocket and deflect. While the skill sets that are available are along the lines of any other fighting game, Overruled gives players the opportunity to change the rules of the game on the fly with over 25 cards that can be picked up throughout the board. So far in campaign mode I've been able to pick up the following cards: double points, reduced cast time on rockets and swag bags. There's no way to tell what the cards are until they've been picked up then players are able to scroll through to pick what they want to use. Because of these "wild cards" you will be hard pressed to find two identical games.

Currently there are 5 levels, 7 characters, 6 game types, single player, local and online multiplayer modes and unique VO for each character. Some of the upcoming features are Steam achieves, more characters, more single player campaigns, more levels and game modes, additional cards and even a level editor. You can pick the game up on Steam for $12.99 for one key or $38.99 for 4 keys. During my set I will have 3 keys to hand out so be sure to tune in. The fun starts at 4pm EST. Another first only on Split Infinity.
