Bethesda is to release the next instalment of their DLC, which will play out the penultimate conclusion for the story of Daud. The DLC will bring an end to this spin-off story, as it carries on from the end of the ‘Knife of Dunwall’ DLC that was released earlier this year. Read the full story so see what all this business is about...
(There are spoilers inside from the first DLC, YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!)
After discovering the identity and intentions of Delilah, the leader of the Brigmore Witch coven, you set out to disrupt her from completing a powerful ritual that will put an end to Daud’s nasty living habit. With your former allies betraying you at every turn, you must rely on feuding gang factions—the Dead Eels and the Hatters—to negotiate your way through previously unseen districts of Dunwall as your carve a path to Delilah’s stronghold. Despite the path you may choose, the story will see its conclusion as Daud will finally confront an old acquaintance, in the form of a Mr. Corvo Attano (The lead character of the main game, if you forgot…)
So, what goodies come with this DLC? Well alongside having a whole new bit of content to dive into, there will be new powers and weapons, allowing you to utilize human shields with the pull spell and blind your foes in daze with chokedust. Once again, players will also be determining how their story will play out, whether it by the edge of a blade or by the dark of night. This alignment can also be carried over from your Knife of Dunwall save, along with all of your characters progression.
The DLC will launch August 13th on XBLA, Steam and PSN (in America) and for some reason August 14th for the PSN in Europe, with prices resting on the $9.99 mark or 800 MS points.
