This weeks ISP band comes at you from Charlotte North Carolina. Winning the May Featured Artist of the Month from Johnny 'Cutt Promotions these guys are racking up the miles with local shows throughout the Carolinas. With the mix of gritty vocals and heavy beats it's easy to see how they rose to the top of the competition.

The folks at Carbine & NC Soft are starting Wildstar's Open Beta this week. The fun begins on the 8th and runs thru the 18th. They are raising the level cap from 25 to 30 which will open up several new aspects to the game not yet previously seen.

You will be able to travel from Nexus to Farside, gain not only a new ability slot but two more abilities as well as some additional tier points.

I'm pretty sure everyone & their brothers have pre-ordered but in case you didn't (we won't hold it against you) then head over to their Open Beta page & grab yourself a key. Make sure you patch early to be able to hop in when the servers come up!

You thought we were done with the Eve news didn't you? Well, we have news for you there. Quite literally too. It seems that CCP are not content with only teasing us with the delectable notion of Katee "Fracking" Sackhoff starring in Eve Valkyrie, Eve Fanfest also brings us the news that Dust 514 is coming to a PC near you. 

As we all know, Dust 514 expanded the Eve universe onto PS3 as a free to play, first person online shooter. It recieved mixed reviews and a lot of complaints from fans who wanted the game on their PCs. And now that dream is coming to fruition with the announcement of Eve - Legion.

Although still in the early stages, CCP have told the world that the game will be getting a massive overhaul, including sandbox gameplay and graphical improvements which will come as a relief to many gamers who felt that the original Dust 514 was very limited in its constraints by the PS3 architecture. 

 In Legion, gamers will be able to sign up for mercenary contracts, scan the entire Eve universe for open salvage zones (an open sandbox where you can gather resources) which are set on planets that have no set mission constraints or end directives. With this, CCP are hoping that the Eve universe can spread to planetary conflict, with the usual skullduggery and mischief normally found in Nullsec. 

No announcement was made on how, or even if the game will link directly to its parent IP, but we will bring you the news on that as we get it.

There's been a huge fracking announcement concerning Eve Valkyrie concerning none other than Battlestar Galactica's Starbuck. Or should that be Katee "Fracking" Sackhoff? Either way it's massive news straight from the Eve Valkyrie Keynote.

In a message to Fanfest 2014, Katee Sackhoff has announced her involvement in the upcoming Oculus Rift (PC) /Project Morpheus (PS4) title which tells us all that she's going to be starring as Ran, the rebellious leader of the game's namesake Valkyrie.
