I caught up with Cary Mac for a short Q&A:
What brought you guys together as a band?
Well we (Skully and Alex Danger) were just jamming and decided to look for other musicians to round out a full band to play live. After a long 2 year search finally came to an end when we got Bryan Ragan on bass and Matthew Griffin on lead guitar.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
We get our inspiration from the many years and generations of music we collectively have between the 4 of us.
You recently changed the bands name from Skullys Revenge to Public Threat. What was the reasoning behind the change?
SKULLYS REVENGE started out as a side project that I did by myself. Adding new members we decided it was a group effort so the change was welcome and PUBLIC THREAT was born.
What can fans expect for 2014?
2014 we're writing new songs and hope to have them recorded by the summer. also going to be playing locally around North Carolina.
