Sierra Ops is not only a Space Sci-/Fi Action RPG by Innomen Productions but an idealization of their first game Operation SD: Space Defense with practically everything improved with new features.
It is set in 2406 several hundred years after Earth has expanded into space and started terofarming other worlds. Your character Junius Farenheit along with your crew Ensign Claine de Lune and Major Jean Brooks are tasked with reclaiming stations back into Terran control. In true RPG fashion the choices you make including battle performance and upgrades will affect the storyline's direction.

The first Shadowrun Returns expansion, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, will be released on February 27th. The expansion will be free for backers of Harebrained Scheme's Kickstarter and will be $15.
The expansion moves the player from the iconic Seattle streets and to Berlin on the edge of an event that was foretold in prophecy that threatens to destroy the city in a apocalyptic fashion. A long with a new team of Riggers, Deckers, Shamans, Mages and others the expansion also adds new weapons and items to be used in both the Dragonfall storyline as well as with the content editing suite.
Time to pull out the NES and Atari games out of that box in your attic. A Nintendo World Championships cartridge for the Nintendo Entertainment System was sold on Ebay this week for $99,902.00. The cartridge, one of only 116 ever manufactured, was made for an event in 1990 that ran across 29 cities in the US and was given away to competition finalists.
The competition was based around scoring the highest in Super Mario Bros., Rad Racer and Tetris within a time limit of 6 minutes and 21 seconds. The three games were put on the game cartridges that were designed for the contest.
Other Nintendo World Championship cartridges have been auctioned in the past, many of which sold for tens of thousands of dollars.
Necrophone Games upcoming Adult Swim Game called Jazzpunk is a first person comedy adventure game set in a 1960s cold war / spy fiction world with lots of weird gadgets and espionage based game play. The dev's drew their inspiration from comedy spoofs like Airplane and the Naked Gun series to name a few.
The game play I was able to find and share makes it look like it will be one hell of a fun ride. Between the 2013 PAX interview which showcases the gameplay and the trailers I came across, this game has now made its way on to my "must have" list for this years titles.

The first song I previewed from Nephilym was Undiscovered which really describes this Indie rock band from North Carolina. . Their song Pandora's Lullaby seamlessly changes tempo's from a hard rock sound reminiscent of Evans Blue or Avenged Sevenfold to meld into a grittier heavy metal sound that you would expect from Mudvayne or SlipKnot. Their unique cover of The Cranberries song Zombie showcases the versatility of this band. Find them on:

DraytonRoad is named for the only rock station in Fayetteville, North Carolina that was available to these guys as they were growing up. The band is comprised of current and former members of Nephilym/Messenger of Hope, Evans City Saints, Pinebox Destiny and Iselia/Kaustic & Driven. They are currently playing local venues in the North Carolina area.
My introduction to them is a song called Rise of Master Splinter which, from the get go grabs your attention with the heavy sounds of guitar & drums. They have a mainstream sound that is uniquely theirs so if you are fans of Adelitas Way or Three Days Grace then you don't want to miss their songs Cleveland Steamer & Coconut Doughnut to name a few.
